Oil Change Advice on a 2004

I'm about to buy a 2004 Ducati Monster.


How often should I do an Oil Change, and which Oil would you guys recommend?

The man who I'm buying it from says it's a 748, but I can't seem to find 748 from 2004. Can it be a 620?

it could be a 749, not 748.  There is a big difference between a 749 and a 620, you really want to know which one it is. If the seller doesn't know, I'd be skeptical. Regardless, the oil change interval is 3000 miles and read this thread to decide what you want to use;
