This has been on the news a lot lately:

The eaglets are just hatching.

I live about an hour from it, so it is pretty interesting to me.  National Geographic is doing parallel filming in HD for a special.  The feed quality is pretty good.

A buddy showed me the Decorah feed Saturday while we were pounding beer in the midst of making a couple batches of homebrew.

We had it on pretty much all night. Cool stuff.  [thumbsup]

Woohoohoohoo! Two personal records! For breath holding and number of sharks shot in the face.

It is kind of cool when you see rabbit parts, black bird feathers, etc in the nest.  They eat well.

Fortunately I can't see it at work due to filters, otherwise I would be consumed all day...

It's like I keep saying:  Those who would sacrifice a free range session for a giant beer, deserve neither free range time nor a giant beer.

I recall a documentary on pbs I saw last year that said even 2 eaglets is considered a high yield.  I wonder how long before the parents give up and do something with it.
