AVG threat found?

Every time I load up DMF, I get a alert message from AVG saying there is an active threat.

I've had AVG on this PC for years now, and havn't changed anything recently.....is there a problem with the board.

It gave my laptop the pox  >:(.   

So I had to make an unscheduled exit from this place yesterday to spend 90 minutes purging the unwanted visitation  >:(.

The Salt Mine's I.T. runs the famous eTrust antivirus aplication on our 'puters.....   First thing the unwanted visitor did was disable that...     [roll][clap][laugh].... 

All better now though  :) (shoulda known to keep running my own protection and not rely on the "experts"  ;)).

didn't notice a thing (running Chrome.) maybe i just wasn't here for the fun?

I'm not running any antivirus at all and the DMF loads 2.6 time the speed of light with no errors.  Maybe that's your problem.
