Went for a great ride this weekend, shot some video (Contour GPS camera). External audio kinda sucked at speed so it only confirms I'll need an audio recorder I can toss in a pocket out of the wind. Here's 25 minutes of highlights.

I saw things along the road I've never noticed before when I ride those roads. Somehow focusing on the road seems to be more important when I ride with Ben and Lars. [laugh]

Great Video!  I was riding in similar lighting conditions last fall with the tree shadows across the road, riding pretty fast and projecting well down the road when suddenly, I realized there were 6 turkeys in one of the tree shadows about 40 yards in front of me.  They were invisible until I was way too close.  I saw black feathers go under each hand.  Darn lucky I didn't crash.  Watch for them ninja critters in the tree shadows.

You know, now that you mention it, those might have been young turkeys that we saw out on the road...
And the sugar fountain fairy swore so hard when she came to super-size that stale hope soybean; liiiike a homeless German woman. Who is this super-sizing spirit-crushing femme? And tell her I'll break a tree root up in her shrimp.
