(note: didn't know if this has been posted yet?)

It's been discussed before -- and inspired others.  I knew it was owned by someone in the Virginia area and has been seen on occasion at shows/events.

Your chance to own now --> http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=230606257634

They need to stop trying to "cafe" monsters. I've yet to see one good example.

im sorry your right its an SS.

Now back on topic, they  need to stop making cafe bikes out of SS and monsters.

The SS is a GREAT looking bike. Just leave it alone.

I was lucky enough to see it in person a couple of years ago.  It looked awesome with the rider on it.  The rear view looked cool with those two large exhaust sticky out of the rider's rear as it rode by.

I wouldn't really call it a cafe racer unless your really had to put it into a category.  It is a stylized version of a cafe racer maybe.  His unique custom take on a modern Ducati cafe racer. The details on it are fantastic.  I really liked the carbon rear hugger and the machined belt covers. I also liked how tiny the bike looked compared to the stock Ducatis.  It is a custom bike. Not everyone is supposed to like it.  Especially if you try to put it in a previous category.

I like it alot.  I would ditch the billet belt covers (and worry about my legs burning up).

If the exhaust doesn't toast one's backside, I would say that from the looks of it, it's a great bike.

Trav was too nice to Derby you - but here's his post with more photos. And it's been for sale before.. dunno if it ever moved.

As far as the bike - I didn't care for the look. But as far as the craft - it was well done. All the custom bits were top notch and well finished. If there was any corner cutting, it was not obvious anyplace.

I remember seeing it at that same Italian Motofest, but also at Donnie's shop a couple/few weeks before when Donnie was tracking down why is was having some electrical issues which ended up being the result of hacked wiring when relocating the ignition FWIR IIRC....
