they like it... but what's interesting is this:

"What the Monster EVO does share with the Diavel is its “race-like” slipper clutch, which incidentally is not the same as the APTC slipper clutch in the Monster 696, 796 and Hypermotard 796."

so it has a true slipper clutch now?

and here is one from ash on bikes:

http://www.ashonbikes.com/content/ducati-monster-1100-evo-review

which also explains the diff with the new clutch:

"The clutch is a variation on the ADTC Adler Power Torque design used on several other Ducatis, which has a self servo action that effectively 'screws' the friction plates together when the transmission is under load, and pushes them apart on the overrun for a slipper action. It means softer springs can be used and the lever action as a result is lighter. The clutch is now wet where older 1100s had dry versions."

Put some Termi's on it. Get rid of that rear fender and away we go!!   [evil]
No modification goes unpunished. Memento mori.  Good people drink good beer.  Things happen pretty fast at high speeds.

It's all up to your will level, your thrill level and your skill level.  Everything else is just fluff.

Slowly saving the money...
I want this... bad... I've been playing a specific MMORPG on and off since 2004. I'm in the process of preparing the accounts and virtual assets for sale, for real $$, so that I may have my down payment for this bike. I'm also cleaning out my garage via craigslist. :P

Last line from the below Cycleworld review caught my eye.  Haven't seen this anywhere else.

"Increased valve adjustments durationâ€"from 7500 to 12,000 milesâ€"also means less time spent dormant for this most volcanic Monster."

i'm guessing they just made that up from the mts/diavel... says nothing like that on the ducati.com website and i'm sure that if it was true, ducati would be advertising it like crazy.

I couldn't find it on Ducati.com either.  I figured someone on here would be able to shed light, if it were true.
