Ace Cafe closing?

A couple of yous guys are around there so do some recon, on a Friday no less, and report back.

I saw the same thing on their Facebook, but they took it down.

There was a good crowd for the WSBK Races yesterday afternoon...  I'll be sad if they go away.

There are a lot of rumors floating around...all I'm pretty sure of is that it is indeed closing.  Reasons as to why are IZ_ right now.  One of the other moderators on there works at Kink and when he spills the beans I'll report back here if he doesn't put it in the BARF thread.  Bummer....

Just imagine if kink.com re-opens it -- a bar where you can watch MotoGP while being whipped.  Awesome.

I just read the BARF thread more thoroughly.  Supposedly Kink has its own in-house bar and Ace represents competition.  (I have no idea if this is true.)  My guess is that Kink raised the rent to market rate, essentially closing down Ace without closing it down.  But who knows.  Mine's just more speculation...  The Facebook page has been taken down giving any details of the bar's closing according to sources. 

Desmoquattro should have a good idea of what's happening.  I think that's his second home.

I was there last week.  Had "chips", PBR and watched old school 500s for a coupla hours.  Gonna miss that place.
