LOL.. Well that was the day it came home. Since then put on some CRG Arrow Mirrors. Next looking at shorter rear hugger & full ceramic coated Termis. Love the Diavel but not crazy bout the sound of the stock exhaust.

10' roll of 4 gauge welding wire, pack of 1/4" tinned copper lugs, hydraulic crimper and some red and black adhesive lined heat shrink.

Tony will appreciate not getting any more; "how long is the ___ wire??" messages from me, I'm sure.  laughingdp

It'll be good to get a custom fit for your battery (Shorai?), custom battery box and pods. Ive bent mine around a bit to suit. Mine are a beefed up oem style kit from Japan and work well. Bike was an import and came with it.

I installed a Shorai Lithium battery in my bike yesterday.  Over 6 pounds lighter than the original battery and no need for a charger (or so they say).

My old battery was reading 12V and the reading was blinking on the dash before I hit the start button.  Not sure what that means but I figured I'd throw it on the charger overnight and it only read 12.1V the next day.  3.5 years and 15,500 miles I figured it was time to replace it anyway.

Install was easy, the battery is much smaller than the original battery so I used a few of the foam sheets they package with the battery and cut them down so the battery fits in the box snugly.  The foam sheets have adhesive on one side so they stay in place and hold the battery securely.

Bike fired right up and I took it for a 20 mile ride just to make sure everything was working fine.

Tis a decent battery.  I put one in this summer when my stock battery seemed to be stumbling a bit.  I got it at motowheels and they suggested the battery tender for letting it trickle while sitting for an extended time.  I have yet to use it but ride at least once a week but this rainy season (if we have one) I will put it on.

Ellingly, did you do the belts yourself?? If so, we may need to have a convo about it.  I'm due to do mine as well.

Sometimes it's the little inexpensive things that tickle me the most...I scoured the Web for these babies for my starter, battery, and ground cables. Nicest ones for the best price, don't bother with the others I tried them all.
