Those used Cyclecats are still lookin dead sexy. You have a very nice bike, Steve-O

Thanks, I'm super happy with them and I'm really happy with where the bike has gotten to. Only thing really left to do for now is get it on a dyno and that will hopefully be happening in the next couple weeks.

Where do you go for Duc  service in ATL? When I lived there I rode old Hondas and Triumph and went to British In The City, was before I became a Duc  head. There's a Duc  specialist somewhere in 5 Points but I can't remember his name. I miss Atlanta.

For valves & belts I take my bike to Lorin Tinkle who used to be the head mechanic at the Duc Shop and works out of his garage on the weekends. I also have a friend who knows what he's doing so I go do what I can at his house and he jumps in to save my ass when it's needed. Where in Atlanta did you live? By the way, British in the City is still here but moved to a bigger place right by Memorial Ave and Moreland Ave.

Got my IMA triples, DP fender, LED round headlight with custom brackets, 900 Supersport retro tank badges and Oberon billet turn signals all mounted up. The flat paint job on the fender sux, going to strip and attempt again. The steering feels heavenly with the new roller bearings, the old ones were shot.

woops, forgot about the new LSL carbon fat bars...they rool  drool.

and the item I actually did *just* buy and receive...Bitubo mono shock. Had a credit @ Bellissimoto to burn. Preload and rebound adjustable with nice smooth clicky dial. Once this is mounted up, I am DONE putting $ into this bike.

If that shock works as well as an Ohlins I want one.  My GF keeps bugging over the yellow shock spring.  She thinks it is the ugliest part of the bike and wants me to send it back to Ohlins for a different color spring  Roll Eyes

I keep telling her to wait until the remote reservoir upgrade comes out so I can kill two birds with one shipping invoice.
Damn that bitubo shock is gorgeous, would look awful nice on my red M1100................  I did not know it was even an option.

If it ain't broke, don't fix it!  Cool New GF might be easier and a lot cheaper. Besides..., do YOU tell her what war paint to buy?  Grin

Hell no I don't!  I also do my best to accommodate her wishes when she is asking me to spend more money on my bike (that has no passengers pegs) than I spend on her.  think man think!  Grin

Quite a bit cheaper than the Ohlins, I got mine for over $500 and well under $700. Looks even better IRL...I can't wait to see it on my bike. Then I'll need to add red bling like a new pressure plate...gas cap...levers...sigh.

Called Bellissmoto to purchase some shiny carbon and Scott asked if I had a steering damper yet.  Without crossing any lines on his part I instantly felt stupid for buying bling before a safety device.  Needless to say I now have a shiny black Bitubo damper on the way.

Someone please get this needle out of my arm!  I am still gonna finish the carbon.........
