I wanted a horn.

Fairly small and not an eye sore.  Well now it isn't:

Almost a full POUND lighter than OE, too.

http://www.piaa.com/store/Search.aspx?SearchTerms=horn has the same horn with their label, along with several other flavors. I have one of them with the larger horn/bell mouth and it fits under the left oil cooler shroud. If memory serves me right, the stock harness connectors reached. But then, I'm an old guy who remembers a lot of thing that never happened.  Wink

No surprise to me 'cause most items with a PIAA label come at a premium.
Not all, but most can be found under a different label minus the markup.

Since it fits under the shroud I am in!  My current horn stops working on hot days.  Actually it works, if you don not mind sounding like a gagged lamb in distress....

I am even more in if Buck just gives up the source.......  Want some bacondrink?  Give it up Buck!

Now I know yer prejudice SB Wink but don't be fooled by the place and the price...this looks and feels identical to the PIAA a buddy has. I'm going to compare the sound and maybe even talk him into taking his off the bike so I can weigh them...betcha they're the same thing exactly.

Every once in a while even the best companies do a little cheat and buy some China stuff and rebrand it.  I don't mind one bit if my horn is made in China.  As long as it is loud and hidden by the shroud!

I'll compare the sound soon. What I'm really pleased with right now is the weight.

I wasn't able to secure em. Long story short I spent a considerable amount of money in currency conversions and fees trying to do business with people overseas who wanted to make it as big of a hassle as they possibly could, and I ended up with no pulleys.  Angry. Jan @ http://www.redfox-grinta.com/ has one set in stock now, the ones that should have been mine. He accepts nothing but a wire transfer with you paying the fees at both ends.

left of the pic front of the front wheel is the ram i made from the left over plywood we cut off.  I use that to push the bike up.

I didn't want to make it to tall so i used 3" diameter casters (the total height of the casters are about 3.750") with 2x4 and plywood on top = roughly 6" off the group...make it pretty easy to push up and down.

Material:
1 plywood (4x8 feet,  rip that down in half to 2x8 for two dolly) I made mine 2x7 though...so the 1 foot left over I can make the ram.

Get good casters...the middle and front casters I used were metal and each cable of holding 300 lbs

as far as the mirrors, I untighten it a bit and fold them in when I store the bike.  I have about half an inch of the bar hitting the wall and the dolly flush against the wall.

Pics or it didn't happen.

Trailing link suspension? 7kg lighter than telescoping forks? Please weigh these to confirm their claims.

Also, please introduce yourself in the introductions thread.

7 kg lighter than tele fork?                    you have misunderstood

the fork with titanium finish weighs 7 kg

(the lightest commercially available GP Race USD fork weighs without oil, including triple clamps 10.8 kg)

I purchased the normal road version  (without titanium parts), all parts of weigh (adequate compared to USD fork 10.8 kg),    8.8 kg incl Clamps

if I have everything installed and ready made test drive get good pictures u drive report
