 applause

So, we've been giving orangelion03 a pretty good ribbing about selling his s2r800 and picking up the Bandit 1200.

He wanted a "more reliable" bike for commuting and longer trips.  Funny thing is, he had nothing but problems getting it running and keeping it running.   laughingdp

Well, he finally got it running and was going to take a ride up to Santa Barbara to meet Sac, Polpetta and myself as we were taking apart Polpetta's CheezBurger350.  Carl and I immediately dispatched her on a mission to get a cupholder and the biggest froo-froo Starbuck's Chocolate chip/double whip/mocha-frappa-java-ccino possible.

When Robert rode up, Carl and Mel distracted him with a corned beef sandwich (which is funny, 'cuz he claims to be a vegetablarian) while I snuck down to his bike to mount the cupholder and the froo-froo coffee drink.

After lunch I suggested we go for a ride.  He took it pretty well...  much better than if I took Sac Duc's suggestion of mounting it to the fairing with dry-wall screws!  laughingdp

That's me laughing my ass off behind Robert in the pic...  and my 999.  Did ya hear? I got a 999.  Yes I did.   Cheesy

I find it disturbing that you're imagining me in a sauna, never mind the teletubbie aspect of it

I was extremely touched by this generous gesture.  It's good to know that I have friends that treat me with love and respect.  Then there are these two a-holes.  Bless their tiny little stone-like hearts...

And the corned beef sandwiches were FABULOUS!!!

Anything for you, Robert!  That's what friends are for.  I knew you had been looking for a cup holder, and you not only got one, but two AND a yummy Starbuck's beverage!  You know you liked it!   Grin

What?!  Almost empty?!  Who would be of such flimsy morals to give someone a cup holder with a nearly empty beverage in it?  Inconceivable, I say!  Angry

That's because I maybe drank most of it waiting for him to show up!  But, I left him all the whipped cream!!!  Grin
