Hey guys and gals.. So, I'm not a big fan of social networking sites but I signed up to the new Ducati Community site 'cause you get to meet a ton of Ducatistas and see their bikes. Then today I ran into this...

One of the dudes I follow(as in tweeter follow) posted this which he saw while out on a bike night... I usually don't care much about what people do to their bikes, to each their own but this is just motorcycle abuse...

As the original poster said, "A blue 999 strecthed out, wearing a large bottle of NOS, air ride suspension and a 360 rear tire!!"
bang head bang head bang head

P.S also notice the fact that they removed one of the front brake rotors, I see that on Hayabusas all the time they do it so "you can see the front rim better..."

To each their own, but that's still a crime. "Great. You have the lightest, coolest sounding, stretched billet-barge around."

That's a lot of money to spend to make something function worse than it did before. And that color makes me want to punch a kitten.

I'm just wondering how the idea came about...

"ok so I have the one of the nimblest, most beautiful curve carvers around... Let's make it so it can't turn!"

"EUREKA!"

I find it disturbing that you're imagining me in a sauna, never mind the teletubbie aspect of it

That looks sorta like the bike you loaded up when you were here, Ryan.  Are you sure that's not a picture of Helga at the top of this thread?

Ryan says "Stop."  Helga says "Nein.  Nein.  Nein."

I don't get why you would want to do that, but I do dig the fab work that went into doing it.  Doubtful they went down to the local bike shop and ordered the bits....

That opinion would carry a bunch more weight if you hadn't spent so many years rockin' pink exhaust cans.   cheeky

It seems like Honda Civic Si blue or Subaru blue... obviously the people who own those cars do this to their bikes.   coffee
