You would be better off taking advantage of the desmoworks offer, the flashed ECU corrects the factory lean fueling and smoothes the powerband out like glass. Fatduc is a bandaid and only viable if you're sticking with the stock exhaust/airbox/ECU. Should be no change in reliability, probably an increase in such with a flashed ECU.

Then all you would need to do is chop the airbox lid and add a K&N filter and you would be pretty well set.

That is really good to know.
Let me ask this,
For starters I care more about reliability than a few extra horse power.  Is there anything I need to be worried about having the ecu reflashed verses doing the Fat Duc o2 senser mod,  I have tried to look back at the ecu page and it seems no one has really had much for issues with the fatduc once they dialed it in.

Any info would be great.

The Fat Duc helps with closed loop operation, but does nothing for open loop (over 5K RPM or 15% throttle AFIAK).  The flash will get rid of the O2 sensor and change the whole fuel curve.  Oh, as a bonus you can kill the immobilizer.

That is good to know  [thumbsup]  It will be a week-ish when I put in the order but im leaning to the reflash now.  Thanks for the info.

Two dogs

S2R1K here with full Arrows open air box and now DP RACE ECU
For the low price  Desmo-Porsche are suppling virgin RACE ECU's at
I would go that way , no need for a PC just trim and forget.
Reflashing has been hit and miss for some from what I have read
and not really that much cheaper.
Mine has turned into an absolute beast with the DP RACE ECU
where before it was horrible .
