How was everyone's weekend?

Had a pretty cruisey fri/sat night at work.. Last night however was absolutely rediculous, felt like I didn't achieve anything (kinda didn't I spose)... Trying to find a short circuit on a main supply on one of our haul trucks. Kinda difficult with the body down to get up on the chassis.
Oh well, hand it on and have two days off now I guess  waytogo

A positive is that I woke up a couple of hours ago, quiet house, decided to finish fitting up the Leo Vince carbon pipes to the 620. Cannot believe the difference in the sound, so much deeper/throatier  bow down

Well at least you weren't looking for an electrical fault on your bike. I also spent the weekend at work, of course it would be the best riding weather we've had in months and it was a love job at that.   Cry

Went for a Weismans loop on Monday with some mates on their new Triumph 675 R's  drool
That is a whole lot of bike for very little money  waytogo
Bloody beautiful weather no traffic no cops we were the only people at PITS  coffee , gave it a good nudge on the Old road  Dolph
then Lunch at the Pub . chug very happy with my fuel economy  3.5 Lt per 100 k especially with how hard I pushed the bike.
No that's the way to spend a Monday

Some here have had the pleasure of riding the Bylong Valley Way, but what an underbelly of intrigue, corruption (coal) and outright criminality lurks just beneath the surface.

Heard this from a reliable source......

A certain northern beaches OZMO  (woof woof), being a tight ars decided to give himself a number 2 (haircut that is) but things didn't go to plan.
He was later seen walking into a barber shop donning a beanie to hide the damage. $30's later he re appeared ready for his holiday in Indo.   coffee

Getting' serious for a moment!!

This was on Dr Phil today and struck a chord with me particularly!

We treat and applaud our service people like heroes while they are in action but then abuse them for being criminals when they cant cope after combat situations with all the associated horrors and are just dumped back in society without any support, debriefing whatever you want to call it!! They dont deserve this shit!! I have seen it in my generation form the Vietnam war and how the public and Governments and Veterans affairs and other Government agencies have just screwed them!!

The WORST thing we can say tp these service people is "I know how you feel"! Unless you have been there and done that you have absolutely NO BLOODY IDEA!

Thinking about you TOM JASON! (Regular Army, 2 tours of 'Nam!) Last seen around Childers QLD. Hoping you are well and surviving!  Sad waytogo

Interesting all right, some of those characters almost got away with $60m each !  We usually get up that way once or twice a year so we'll meet up definately.

The pricks boys in blue were again policing the old pacific hwy today, close to Berowra.
Noise testing seemed to be their topic of interest though their official name went as "random breath testing". Strange it was that all cars were getting past and only bikes being pulled over. Two of my mates were waved in, Scott was queried as to why his exhaust tips were square where as the other MV's were round. After being told that their was a seven year gap between them, Einstein then proceded to question Tony in regards to his rego label and how he deemed it as illegal,........that is, until Tony pulled out a copy of the RTA's brief regarding correct positioning. That was gold    waytogo
Two Harleys were pulled aside for noise testing, don't like their chances.....  not really the road to take a  "modified"  bike these days people.
With all the recents accos up on that road, I can sort of understand their reasoning to a degree. But their arrogance and rudeness, well, need I say more........... Roll Eyes
