Don, I've been told the Sato S4 rearsets will fit all the double sided swingarm Monsters. In some places it is shown as S4/Monster meaning all the Monsters. Should be a quick check with your preferred supplier. http://www.satoracing.com/rearsetsmonster.htm

yeah, s4 came out 2001 and by 2003 the whole range had the frame:
except from Ducati.com (but specifically the 2003 m1000s review page):
With the chassis, Ducati have opted to base the whole Monster range on the frame derived from the S4 which gives a 30% increase in torsional rigidity.

Do you mean "rigidigity"?? As in "digit rigidigity" after drinking copious quan titties of the Hoegaarden???

Why would you want a Vespa? Surely you'd be better off with a Lambretta. The Boss might be able to help point you in the right direction, depending on what you are after. Don't have any details with me (and am not sure if they deal with both Vespa & Lambretta) but I think there is a place in Melbourne & one in Sydney who are good for some of the vintage parts. There is some pretty good stuff coming out of Vietnam at the moment (there is also some rubbish). When you are back on line let us know and we'll try and help.

Lambretta is the better scoot. Vespa are a pain to work on. I have a clutch pulling tool for a Vespa if anyone wants to use it. Rob
