I tried to PM a couple of new arrivals on the old site today to tell them where we all are now and failed miserably because they automatically overwrite the website with ***'s  boo. I even tried the dot instead of "." trick but they covered that to. How dare they try and stop us from nicking their users  Wink

Very good Max. Congratulations to both Robyn & yourself  waytogo
Now, what better way to consummate an engagement than upgrading that tired front suspension   Smiley And i do mean your bike there mate....... coffee
I may have a spare set of S4R calipers in pristine condition that you could be allowed to get on an interest free loooooong term payment plan.
Why not just head back now and cancel the remaining holiday and the part refund will pay for Des's bargain basement forks, am sure Robbi will understand.  Roll Eyes
A possible alternative Wellsy..............Although a very nice gift........rings are old hat......wave a shiny set of Showa's in Robbi's face and she will melt........ waytogo      I know they are not gold, but thats where my calipers come into the picture    Grin
Also, please explain that these parts are all safety items Max, and best you mention that the extra stopping power is needed when riding two up.........You can do it sunshine.........Stress the fact that you are now all but married...........and with the added responsibility involved you need to keep that bike in good order.
Please don't mention my name though.  Roll Eyes

Went and watched 'Red Dog' today (well it had a bike in it) I think this will be one of those Iconic Aussie movies, like croadile dundee was, bit of a tear jerker in parts but some good old rock songs and cars that where around back in the seventies - hey I even saw a Leyland P76 in the background (gosh I'm showing my age Shocked). Anyway a good movie in my book.

Have to agree with you Mick.  I saw it the day it came out.  I knew the story about Red dog from the time I lived in Port Hedland and travelled to Dampier/Karratha.  Brought back lots of memories.  It really was like that, even in the 80's.  Should have taken the Kleenex though - cried my eyes out. (But then I am a big sook!)  Cry Cry  cheeky
