our weather is supposed to be static, unchanging.

Nope, just for those in So Cal.

suns are born, grow, expand beyond measure and then cataclysmically contract and go supernova

the universe expands daily

the earth itself moves and shakes, continents move around the globe

and yet...

our weather is supposed to be static, unchanging.

You ARE freaking out...man!
Woohoohoohoo! Two personal records! For breath holding and number of sharks shot in the face.

Most of west Texas seems to be on fire or already burned. :P With no end in sight. The draught like conditions and 35-45 mph winds aren't helping. I bet I've only had maybe 3" of rain since Jan. 1st. I have been running the soaker hoses around the foundation of my house since February. Don't normally start doing that until June or July and that's if it's really dry. I've NEVER run the soaker hoses 4-5 months earlier than normal. Bad way to finish the spring and looking ahead at a hot, dry summer. Send us some of your rain!! [beer] Of course we'd probably just get tornadoes out of it. [bang]

The incredibly gusty winds have kept me from riding several days. Nice sunny days end up un-rideable with winds over 45 mph on a full fairing bike. No fun being pushed out of your lane into the oncoming lane on a two lane road while heeled over in a turn. :o
I plan to list the Federal Gov't. as a dependent on my next 1040 tax filing!

I have flying honey badgers and I'm not afraid to use them!

The fact that flame throwers exist is proof that someone somewhere said "I'd sure like to set those people over there on fire but I'm just not close enough to get the job done."

CONFIDENCE: the feeling you have right before you understand the situation.

Weird here too, won't seem to get above 75 and there have been several clouds reported............. [moto]

FEMA is on the way.  [cheeky]
It's all in the grind, Sizemore. Can't be too fine, can't be too coarse. This, my friend, is a science. I mean you're looking at the guy that believed all the commercials. You know, about the "be all you can be." I made coffee through Desert Storm. I made coffee through Panama while everyone else got to fight, got to be a Ranger.

Yes complaining about the weather is as useless as a political argument on a public internet forum but where else can I piss and moan........

;D

Anyone else besides Nate miss the politics board?

I thought it was a Texas state law to complain about the weather! ;D

I'm sure not a day goes by that he doesn't lament the loss of that board.

If you believe that then I have some nice swampland in Fla for sale...

It's like I keep saying:  Those who would sacrifice a free range session for a giant beer, deserve neither free range time nor a giant beer.

i have had guys reach back and grab my crotch in an attempt to get around me. i'll either blow in their ear or ask them politely to let go of my wang.

Don't forget about the earthquakes that seem to be on the increase as well. In another few months there will be another major quake somewhere.

"Yelling out of cars, turning your speakers out the window to blast your music onto the street, setting off M-80 firecrackers, firing automatic weapons into the airâ€"these are all well and good. But none of them create a merry atmosphere of insouciance and bonhomie quite like a revving motorcycle.

Gorgeous day here in Phoenix.  Hot sun but a cool breeze.  Cool at night too.  Perfect here for a few more weeks until the temps rise.

Seems like a lot of tornados already this year though in other parts of the country.
