Driving home from work today...

all of the sudden the car infront of me swerves and something comes bouncing down the road towards me! What is that? A freakin hammer?!?!?!?! Well I swerve but still catch it with my rear driver side tire.

FLAP FLAP FLAP

So I pull over and change my flat. Pull it off and look at the tire, but nothing is wrong. I look inside the wheel? The inner wall of my Aluminum wheel has a hole in it  Shocked. Right in the middle of the inside of the wheel there is a bump with a crack in the middle.

Looks like VW is getting 400 more of my dollars  Undecided

...Plus a tire  Undecided

I was going to take a picture, but I can't find my camera right now. I'll post one when I find it.

yeah...if I wasn't so broke right now, I would do it


as it stands, it means I'm going to have to wash the other 3 wheels so the new one doesn't look funny  ;:|

Are you in the states?  If so, what wheels are they?  I work for Porsche/Audi/VW, I may be able to get you a hookup.

It's a 16in alloy that came stock on a 2007 rabbit. It was the option up from the steelies. If you could get me a hook up, that would be awesome!!!

Thats what I'm running on until I can get a new wheel (Thursday at the earliest)
