For those living in Europe, how about meeting up? nothing formal, just head to an event and have some nice chats, dinners, and rides.

From what I know we have riders in the UK, France, Spain, Portugal, Croatia, Lithuania and Germany... any others? I tried to pick the most central locations far enough out on the timeline for a little planning.

Please put up any other ideas and I'll add them to the poll as they come in. I only put up major events, so if you know of a cool smaller event, please let us know.

You can change your vote so come back and see where things are going
as we get closer to a consensus we'll finalize a location.

Jerry the monster owners club of Belgium organise a wonderful weekend event in the Buggenhout area, this year its the 17th-18th september.  Last year I went with a group of the UKMOC members and we had a really good time with a ride out and evening meals all planed in advance and on the sunday the town square in Moerzeke was the scene of a large gathering of monsters plus quite afew other ducati's, may I suggest that with the co-operation of the MOB that we use that event as a meeting point for owners of monsters from europe... To see pics of last years event goggle the MOB web-site... waytogo

Geoff, do you think you could make contact with them and see if that's possible? Belgium is a good location for the central european riders, maybe not our more southern friends, but hell that's an excuse for another one Cheesy

The UKMOC have their annual weekender at Arrow Mill, Alcester over the bank holiday 28th-30th may, there will be a large group of the Belgium owners attending the event so I'll have a chat with  them about making thier event a meeting point. Last year in Belgium there were quite afew monsters from other european countries at the event, Dutch, French and German as I remember plus the hosts and us Brits so personally I don't see a problem.

If any of you guys are in the UK over the weekend 21st-22nd may Ducati UK are holding a two day event at the Silverstone circuit in Northamptonshire with a varied selection of stuff happening, Goggle for info... waytogo waytogo

Here is a link to a Monster group here in Italy.

They get together from time to time for dinner, which may not do you much good but you should at least check out the summer mesh riding gear in the second photograph.

Well, I'm going to Italy anyway and wouldn't mind bumping into that mesh-wearing person Cool Not at all!!

Topic.... My friend and I will be at Misano June 11th/12th/13th. WSBK.
The week before and after we're doing some serious Alps riding [moto]

Unfortunately that's my only visit to continental Europe this year.

It would be great to have the meet in Germany. I'm new to DMF and Germany and have been trying to find some Americans here with Monsters or in a club.

I'm going to this event at the end of the month.

http://www.passioneinmoto.it/

It's not strictly Monsters, but it is sponsored in part by Ducati and you can expect to see plenty of Monsters and other Ducati bikes.

The idea is to start at Imola Saturday morning and ride around the surrounding (and very beautiful) hills for about 250km.  Lunch is included.  Because the area is known for great food, I'm guessing lunch should be more than just a stale sandwich.

Saturday evening is a big party at the Imola race track which I'm guessing will feature some kind of spectacular Ducati demonstration.  Sunday is another ride.  There are four courses of varying lengths and lunch breaks which vary  between 1 and 2 hours (depending on the course), so you can select how much riding vs eating you want to do.

It's cheap too; 14 Euros per day.

Sounds like fun.
