Slightly uneven brake pads; ok to still use?

So I got some new rotors for my bike.  While I was waiting for the rotors to be delivered I inspected the pads.  They have plenty of life left in them but I noticed one pad was slightly unevenly worn.  One side of the pad has about 1mm more material than the other side.  This was likely due to a caliper issue which I have since taken care of.  I'm just wondering if the pad is ok to still use.
Don't look at this.

You could probably use the old pads, but I would use fresh pads on new rotors.  If you do use the old ones, put them on a belt sander to remove any glaze and expose fresh friction material, and regardless of using new or old pads  make sure you bed them in properly.

Yup. What ^^^ he said.

New pads are cheap. Think of this as an excuse to try a new compound with a little more/less bite than stock to see if you like em.

I can't wait until Marquez gets on his level and makes Jorge trip on his tampon string.
