I've been looking everywhere on many different sites but still cant find a dedicated workshop manual for the DS!! Sad

Has anyone during their travels/searches come across any workshop stuff for my bike?? [moto]

Anything on this bike is like Rocking Horse Turds!! Wink

Maybe have to go to manuals for other bikes that share the motor and suspension componentry??

Dragon,

I've never found one either!

I have the spare parts catalog on PDF though if that helps. Nice schematic diagrams....but you're a much better mechanic than me so it may be below your talents.

Dunno Bazz, not sure. I would think that any of the DS 1000 motors would be pretty much the same but ya never know.

That would be nice R. I might take you up on that. The schematics are always helpful with disassembly/assembly. (Hmmmm what am I doing with these extra bolts in the bucket?? Wink )

Dragon, coming through now...it's 5mb so it will take a bit of time I believe.

left over bolts? The termis just got delivered....I wanted to find the bolts for carbon shields (they bolt onto the s pipes) so I could get them plated black - no frickin luck! better to have to too many bolts than not enough...

I have been looking for one as well. I rang Frasers on yesterday and they told me that the importer has one in stock for $220.00

yes, but we're dealing (unfortunetly) with a import company that wants to CHARGE for the accessories catalogue!

anyway - I have something for you - reminds me of the Termi instructions though, half italian half english...

just discovered it's a S2r 1006 owners manual - same engine though as we know!

yeah - I'm going through it now, Dragon your going to like this! (it's 540 pages long)

http://www.ducati.com/en/bikes/service/parts/2004.jhtml?family=parts
Once this page opens click on the American flag next to 1000S ie and that will give you the parts manual for free.
