Just got a new toy, a GoPro Motorsport HD camera.
This is my first effort, really just a test to see if the thing worked.

Haven't even tried any editing yet, so I know it could be shorter & would be much better with a soundtrack of some sort.

But hey, I had fun!!!

You're on the wrong side of the road.  :D

That looks great. Do you have the 1080 HD one? Think it's worth the almost twice the price of the 720/30fps one (I saw $299 v $180 on their website). I'm thinking of getting one to mess around with (for mountain biking too).

Artful

I have the same cam and can say wholeheartedly that it's worth the 1080 version. The highest quality is nice, but the one I find myself using most is 720/60 fps. For high speed motion the double frame rate is sooooo smooth.
Every time I meet a new group of your friends that understand you and your weird sense of humor I'm a little more amazed that there are other people in the world like you that lived through childhood - My loving girlfriend

To confirm, This is the 1080p Motorsport model.
As I live in Australia, the camera is set to PAL format (not the NTSC format for America) as such, this footage was filmed at 720p, 50 frames per second (fps).
Keep in mind that Youtube does compress the footage somewhat, so its not quite as sharp as when I play it back on my computer. Though its not that much different.

The next one I'll try is 1080p 25 fps to see what difference that makes.

I love that road ... seems to have been pretty quiet :-\

Good to see you keeping to the speed limit Dan [cheeky] [laugh] ... I have been considering one of those little Heroes, might have to discuss it sometime. Nice vid mate.
