that whole exhaust set up is really sharp........and the sil moto conical exhaust is my favourite look......really nice.
As my kids would say, "I know, right"

looks really good imho. what kind of coating did you have at jethot?

i would coat the muffler bottom and top parts as well, i think you have the right idea.

As far as I know, JetHot only offers one black coating. I wanted a little bit of gloss to it which it does have.

I may coat the bottom part of the muffler, but I definitely will not be coating the end cap. I've seen the Sil Moto conical exhausts done entirely in black and that isn't the look I'm going for.  IMO, it loses something when the exhaust is all black (too much of a good thing).

http://www.ducatimonsterforum.org/index.php?topic=47015.255

vs this one

http://www.ducatimonsterforum.org/index.php?topic=28586.msg708169#msg708169

with a different pipe of course.

my question about the ceramic coating was about the temperature rating. 2000F?

I do like both of those exhaust systems. The all black one is the best looking all black exhaust I've seen. It helps that it has some gloss shine.

I'm not sure what temperature rating the coating on my exhaust has. I just checked the JetHot website and there is a 1300F black and a 2000F black. I'll find out.

I can't believe this.  I've kept my eyes open for a used set of the Sil Moto conical low mounts for a couple of years.  A few days after I buy and install a new set at full retail price, a nice used set pops up for sale. Huh? Undecided   That's life. Smiley
