So....whilst I love the dogs and all....typically if you let one get their little face near yours, your in for a surprise lick. Given what they like to eat, I don't appreciate this, and it feels truly horrid.

So....earlier, while the black one had her obtrusive snout near my face, I sprang forth and licked her face. Smugly thinking  "There! How do you like it!"

1) Just...don't do this. Whippets just taste of some nasty ancient type fuzz that *no* amount of beer, scotch and listerine has been able to take out of my mouth. It just...lingers. I can only imagine it's similar to turkey bacon.

2) They really don't care.

3) I should never, ever be left to my own devices. Ever.
