Chiu

hey new info

check the rotor bolts on your bike. if you have 5 you might already have the 15mm offset needed... so no spacers
apparently this is a 796 feature...
sorry about that... that just was brought up in another thread.

and i guess you might also want to check the lower triple clamp size since someone else is saying it's 53

how i can check the bolts is 5/6?
Do you the the 2011 version is 5/6? Cause my bike is in service till next weekend. So i can't check it now.
Most people said the lower triple clamp is 54mm, so i not sure it's 54/53mm......

what wheels do you have on there? i notice you are selling your stock

count the bolts mounting the brake rotors.

yeah this is a bit confusing, another member, who i think is a mech at a duc shop, is saying 50/53 for the 796...

You'll need them to take a quick measurement and visual on the forks/wheels.

The best thing at this point is to ask one of the dealers, Maybe Dave R from  Ducati Seattle can get some specifications for us.

If it is 53... i really do wonder if you'll have enough material on it to go all the way to 56 and keep the strength.
Where are you located?

i had always heard the ohlins were 53/56... and had required a new lower triple even for the superbikes.

Apparently: after a search: the Ohlins off the S models is 53/56 but the FGRT are 53/53

Ask him for a good picture of the forks with all the parts.

So 53/53 or 53/56 you suggest?? Which one is better??
Or which one can sell a better price if I decide to sell the fork after 2-3 years later?
Thanks
