want to put a single side swing arm on my 02 M750.  i have heard about it but no one can really give me any details. has anyone got any advice, clues, hints, elbow grease to lend    money wouldn't be bad either.

You're looking at quite a few shinny new pennies for that mod!!

You're better off selling the 750 and buying a SSSA bike. I think the kit from motowheels starts at just under 3k. So, to answer your question, it can be done but not really worth the cost. Especially when you can probably pick up an S2R for around 5k.
