Next best option for replacement ignitors?

Based on my understanding, the ignitech option is no more.  One of my stock ignitors has failed.  I was planning to invest in the ignitech in lieu of replacements.   What  is the next best option for replacement ignitors???   I see a Ducati brand new on ebay and a few used kos...  as well.

Secondly, is there anything that will have prolong the life of the ignitor as they seem to fail often.

they respond to emails pretty fast(in english too) and it'll give you a excuse to pick up some of their crazy 2v parts.
