I'll reserve judgement until we see a finished product, but that seating arrangement looks miserable. You can say what you want about a Ducati and comfort, but it does look odd.

Just got word from the president of my local club.
"Just heard from another club president over in Italy for the annual president's meeting who's seen the actual bike and he said that's pretty much what it looks like. They apparently were told the 20hp increase is accurate, but he said they're saying a 10kg weight reduction, not 20kg as was reported in the articles. He said it looks sweet, especially in red."

The bidding closes June 20th. Better make your offer quick!

That looks pretty hot. The one thing I don't like is the tank to fairing design

actually that's one thing that links it to some Ducati heritage. the MH900e had that as well.
but that does look like it's gonna be either tank skins or plastic tanks
the thing i don't get is the width of the bike. the front is going to have to be very large mouthed to be able to have the front wheel that far into the fairing

Do these bikes still have tanks up on top....thought those were all cosmetic places to rest one's beer belly during a long ride...

what i'm wondering is if the brand new model tanks... ones that had to have been designed with the expanding tank issue in mind... will they still be the same plastic?

I know, so does the Desmo, which is probably what it's based on. I still don't like it
Good point on the width, I hope it's not. The slimness of ducs has always been one of the things that makes it handle so well

I'd venture to say the single cylinder width as opposed to a sideways 4 cylinder is the reason for Ducati's being so slim, not necessarily the design, Jesus. The bike doesn't need to be fat since the engine isn't as wide.
