Zero Gravity ST windscreen

Just put it on today, still undecided on the look, seems to block the wind better, but I'll be taking it off since I need max airflow because of the heat.

i don't mind the look. kind of reminds me of the alien queen...
*wonders if that will be taken as plus or a minus*
anyway, how's wind protection, visibility, and the noise and buffeting when tucked down behind it?

I have mine on order, clear with PoorDucRiders. I decided clear for visibility and because I like that look for my red S2R 800. Your black bike is fine with the dark version, although IMO bar end mirrors looks better without the fairing.
Which midpipes are those? Any advice on getting/installing them?

hahahaha...I should paint the alien queen head on the front!!
Wind protection, noise and buffeting are improved greatly, I'm 5'8" so it didn't take much to improve these things. I'd go with the clear because the visibility when tucked is terrible, can't fully lay on the tank or I could only see 1/2 of the road.

I'm gonna get the PoorDucRiders soon!
The midpipes are Spark...the polished finish is very nice, but the tooling marks are VERY visible, it looks like the mid-pipe is almost threaded where the s-pipes attach.

I believe the PoorDucRiders will improve things even more.
From DesmoWorld's website it seems like the pipes for S2R 800 come with the header pipe for the horizontal cylinder. Was it so for you or did you cut and re-use the stock header pipe? Any word on the fitment, sound and did you have to get a tune up?

did this come as the whole assembly or just the see through part on top? I've got a black bike and going 90 on the freeway with no windshield is getting old. I'm not sure which to buy. They have 3 on monster parts.
I like the zero gravity, the sr series, and the givi a750. Anyone have any other pics or input on any of these?

Just the top part. I think you need the ST to make a difference from stock.

I've seen "PoorDucRiders" used several times and I have no idea what that means. I even Googled it and don't turn up anything. Bueller?
Thanks...and Hook'Em!

Google come up with this for "poorducrider":
http://www.poorducrider.com/stays.htm
To me, the Touring screen seems so much more stable (aerodynamics?) that I'm not convinced the PoorDucRiders are really needed.
MonsterParts (and I) have both.

(sorry to answer when I'm not asked, but...)
MonsterParts charges $35 ("accessories"). My experience is that the Touring Screen does not flap around at all. Yes, that's strange - it must be because the aerodynamics are completely different. OK, it was even a little bit better with the PDRs but I'm not convinced they are really needed with the Touring Screen. If you keep the stock screen the PDRs will be a HUGE improvement!
