I saw a 696 this weekend with the Vance and Hines CS One Oval slipons and I liked the sound and look in person a LOT. Is the owner on here? Saw you at Wawa in Bethlehem on Sunday.

Anyway, does anyone else have these and would you care to comment on your overall opinion? I'm looking for something that's deeper than the stock pipes but not terribly loud and these seemed about right. I also think the more modern lines go well with the newer style monster. Thanks for any input!

I went to school in Bethlehem (PA)! While I don't own the CS Ones, I saw and heard them on a 796 last year and they were pretty nice. They were black, which is definitely my preference. They only thing I didn't like was the chrome tips as I'm just not a chrome guy. Otherwise they are a very nice and unique take.

asherrick-

I too agree that black is the way to go. I was going to remove the logos too which would require me to braze the holes and re-ceramic coat so I might black out any other bright bits I don't like while i'm at it.

Where did you go to school? I've lived in Bethlehem since 2000 and went to Lehigh.

I graduated in 04. Did you have a bike on campus? Nice to meet another LU grad!
