There i am going through the turns on skyline Sunday when i round this blind turn and right in the middle of my lane is a dam little pomeranian dog just laying in the road enjoying the sun.  I had no time to think, other than oh shit im going to hit him. I missed that dog by inches, a quick swerve and luckily he didnt move is what saved my ass.

Oh yeah one more thing.  If you take skyline all the way down to where it meets Dixie road, on the corner there is a sign saying 30 with an arrow. I hung a right there on dixie road, holly crap what a piece of shit road that was. Downhill with gravel anyone ever gone down that road? I turned around after a while, that road sucks.

Good job on missing the dog, Jacob would have ran him over!

Not sure about the road you speak of, but riding a street bike on gravel is no fun.  Smiley

I think that gravel road goes on a tad too far. Once you go to far that way, there is no easy way back without gravel. I have some sadistic friends who think it is funny to watch super bikes try gravel.  bang head

Dixie road

I think this road is paved...It is a fun road without gravel...

Also, newberry, germantown, cornelius, and logie trail can be fun too...   waytogo

yes it is paved, but there is gravel they havent cleared out from de-icing the road i guess and alot of it. That mixed with going downhill on tight turns just isnt my idea of fun.

Anyone know whereabouts McNamee is?  Somewhere near newberry, germantown, cornelius, and logie trail  - I hear it's the best one in the area!

by swerving you have thwarted darwin.
do so at your peril, as he surely will insist that someone not survive.......

Mcnamee is a beautiful road but becareful cause I've had dogs in the road there to. Most people don't have fence's around their property so they just roam free. But a pomperianin is a rat anyway's, so next time just run over it. Evil
