Luckily I do have a spare black key... but now I need a new "spare black key". I'd like it to have the Duc logo on it because I'm a snot (well not really but... I just want it).

Its a 2006 S2R if that makes a difference.  Yes, I have the red key and stuff but I since I still have a black key, I thought its not a big deal.

You can use the red key to re-program another black key, at least you can on the 999's.

I don't know how much help I can be but I think a key blank can be flashed to the ECU as long as you still have the red key. Not sure where to buy one though.

I really just wanted to tell you how great this story was. Sucks about the key but it is pretty funny.

Thanks for the help. I guess I can go to the dealer and ask.  Just scared they're going to tell me that its $300 to replace the key.  I didn't think they could do it to be honest.
