It was an absolute pleasure shooting the bull over beers in DC, shame you didn't get to see the finer points of Baltimore but life (and weather) happens. You definitely gave me the motivation I needed to find a way to make this happen in the near future. Now to find a dual sport that will haul my ass around.

I've made it abundantly clear to my neighbors that if they come onto my property, or talk to me or my wife for any reason whatsoever  they will be beaten to death with a shovel and their remains will be eaten by three large dogs. So no, they haven't brought it up.

greatest post ever!

Sac, if your ever in my neck of the woods I have a couple of neighbors I'd like you to set straight for me.  applause

Awesome adventure you had Dan and the pictures are fantastic. You should print out a bunch and frame 'em. You seem to have a great eye for photography and they would be an excellent reminder of your trip hung up around your place.

What digicam did you pack on the bike? Definitely most snaps are well above average! Really appreciate your sharing.

Thanks! I appreciate you joining me.

Canon S90.

A lot of it is being right place right time and from there is just creative cropping once on the cpu. I do some editing with color etc. and if its a shot i really like ill take more time to make the shot "work" . But sometime theres nothing you can do, (or above my cpu editing skill set) Some days ill take 100+ photos, by the time i crop edit i'll have about 10-20 photos that i like and 3 that ill post up here... so law of percentages....For the most part i try to make the photos look like the way i remember and try to not over do it. With something simple as saturation you can make everything look really vibrant  but i try no to over do it to the point it looks fake, but more how i visualized it.

Oh and take the camera off of AUTO, use P, learn the settings and play with them. I never shot with a flash and a simple tripod goes a long way with low light shots.
