Interesting thing about the 696.

1. Tank color can be changed easily, and it comes stock with a non-scratch 'stripe'.
2. Tank dings are no more - vents, and interchangeable panels.
3. headlight is already low profile.
4. indicators are all LEDs.
5. 'tail chop' is essentially stock.
6. concealed wiring stock.
7. underseat exhausts - stock

what else is there left for us to do? aftermarket mirrors? that's it?  ;D

It seems we all have think pretty much the same on this topic. The reason we feel so strongly about the Monster is the same reason we like the German made cars.  I have a 93 BMW 325I and a 96 M900. I love them both  [thumbsup] and although neither have a great deal of power, they have enough and there handling is like no other. Even though they are both older vehicles, they both put a smile  [cheeky] on my face every time I drive/ride them. And besides, we like having something a little different. [clap]

I wasn't sure what the G-500 was, so I googled it.

Does yours look anything like this?  ;D ;D ;D

;D  I haven't finished all the mods, so not quite like that.   ;D

I tell ya, these jackasses in rush hour traffic...
It's all in the grind, Sizemore. Can't be too fine, can't be too coarse. This, my friend, is a science. I mean you're looking at the guy that believed all the commercials. You know, about the "be all you can be." I made coffee through Desert Storm. I made coffee through Panama while everyone else got to fight, got to be a Ranger.

Gentlemen, you can't fight in here, this is the War Room.

There is nothing noble in being superior to some other man.  The true nobility is in being superior to your previous self. And in bacon.
