yesterday i went to start my bike, and it kicked once like the battery was dead, and gave some code with some weird numbers i think it was like .05v or something like that, i dont remember, it flashed quick, then it reset the trip, and clock
today it did the same thing, but it started right up after that, so i dont know whats going, anyone else get this?

you may remember that some wires were rubbing on my frame, so that may be an issue, but it only seems to do it after it has been sitting overnight? once it starts and runs for a while, its fine

Possibly a loose connection. Check battery terminals. Might be slightly loose which is causing the drop in voltage..

I have exactly same issue with 796. I did not have the problem last summer.
Cold start problem usually occurs when temperature is between 5-10 degrees celcius. In those temps starting also could be hard.
I will try to connect monster to battery tender to check whether it is due to battery voltage drop.

I had this happening...  It was new battery time.
