That's true for all the two horn kits, Hella, Fiamm, or generic like mine. To two separate tones combine synergistically to be really loud. I think you have to go with an air horn to get somthing louder (or a steam whistle; now THAT would be cool; only I don't know where I would put the boiler).

nice disappearing... better pic than the camera phone. ![](http://www.pezcyclingnews.com/photos/charles/duchorn2.jpg) Your bike looks good from this angle. I like your choice of mods, and I really love those forged wheels! How come you have a wrist band around the brake fluid reservoir?
That is an old racing trick to soak up brake fluid if it spills out of the reservoir

Yeah now a days it's there for not much more than looks. Some folks will say it keeps the sun off the fluid too...

This is correct. The horns operate at different frequencies. You can run just one by itself and it is still quite loud, but the effect of the horn is much more pronounced with both to make a kind of dissonance. Hella horns in particular are popular with Subaru owners (I have a set myself) and if I recall they produce roughly 110 decibels. It's a great way to make sure people can hear you from the front, as well ![Grin](http://ducatimonsterforum.org/Smileys/classic/grin.gif)

I dunno, I like to idea of having a non-wimpy horn but there's gotta be a better place for those.
Personal opinion only but it kinda looks like you turned your bike into a giant ladybug
