Mr. Dual Sport Rider

« on: June 14, 2011, 03:33:46 AM »

First I sold the Ducatis, now I've moved from the Bay Area.  It looks like I've completed dropping out of the Bay Area Monster riders.

I enjoyed the times when I used to go on monthly rides with the other Monster riders.  For those of you that I know, thanks for being friends.  I'll remember fondly the times I spent with you in past years.

So I've bought a house in Folsom, have a job there, and will be concentrating on dual sport riding with a bit of adventure riding mixed in.  Maybe someday I'll buy another Ducati, maybe even another Monster.

Carry on.

Take it easy, Scott. Keep the rubber side down.

Good luck, and thanks for the rides.  Poke your head in here and saying hi occasionally.  I hope you decide to get another Duc at some point.  They just seem to fit ya.   waytogo   Dolph

I wish I joined in on one of the Pleasanton rides during my 2 year stint of working out in that neck of the woods.

Ride safe.

Hey Scott- moved to Folsom? Doesn't that mean more cattle crossing guards? Yikes!
Have fun and look forward to hearing from you now and again.

Armadillo Willy's.  (I'm a doin' wheelies).

That's the only motorcycle event that my wife ever attended with me.  I drove the car to that one.  That was probably right after wrecking my Monster, since Chris Kelley was there, and he had just bought the engine and a few other parts from me.

I think I can convince the wife to attend the Sacramento Mile dirt track race at the end of the month (for the second motorcycle event), as long as I spend about eight hours with her at the fair first.   bang head

I went to the Sacramento Mile (and the fair) yesterday.  I only had to spend about four hours at the fair and saw all practice sessions, qualifying, and the races.  Those bikes look awfully fast for riding in dirt.  Cool
