that being said, i normally hate kickstarter because most of it just seems to be people asking for money offering very little back.  this seems to be a bit diff though, at least they are offering a product for you to buy.

Pretty cool, but as with all camera tech (and tech in general) just wait a year and something newer and even more mind boggling will be available.
