Hi everyone,

I am driving a M1100s 2010 version, and i am going to purchase a exhaust. Is it possible to make the exhaust go out to one side like M1100evo??
Any brand suggest?? In fact my first choice is Termi., but can i purchase the M1100evo Termi exhaust for my M1100s?
Thanks.

Raux

check out the exhaust thread ... there is one that makes the M1100 a single sided, but into a single can, ...

It is breaking the law in Hong Kong if using single can.....do you know if it is possible to install the 1100evo exhaust onto the 1100s??
Thanks.

You'd have to look at the Evo spare parts manual and compare that against yours to make an educated guess. If the 2010 has all the mounting provisions as the Evo, I don't see why not. You'd have to get all the right fasteners and such, but it's doable.

Personally, I like the dual high cans :); the Evo cans block the SSSA.

Why would that be?  As long as the sound (DB) and emissions are the same what difference does it make...?
I don't own a Ducati...but I wrench on one.

Yes, i know it will block the SSSA. I would like to change to side output exhasut because my girlfirend feel so hot on her leg when she sitting on the rear, so I would like to change the output to the side.

Anyone knows the sound of the above exhaust, is it much louder than the stock exhaust? Even louder than the Termignoni exhaust?
Cause it will break the law in Hong Kong if it is too loud of the exhaust.
Thanks.

Mark offers different baffles.  I think he can build from Euro legal to ear bleed.  Contact him directly.  If you could find out about the local codes and test method I'm sure it would help.

Just call the dealer , they told me the 1100evo exhaust can't install onto my 1100s. They said the foot peg position is not the same. As one know is it the true?

Raux
