I am working on a 2004 benelli for a mate , needs completely rewiring but benelli cannot supply loom for 2004 models so they send out 2006 loom which is completely different its a 3 piece loom not only that but they cannot supply wiring diagrams either but i have managed to get wiring diagrams from 3 different benelli TRE /Tornado models from 2006 -2009 and they are all different and what makes it even worse all cable colours are different from year to year even on same model and the diagrams which are factory ones dont even show all the components /relays and connectors????

what should be a simple job has already taken up months of wasted time and research ..Benelli Forum is helpful as the guys are enthusiast like Ducatisti but they have little info to really help me , The Benelli dealer network is chaotic and uninformed the factory are worse than useless they send me info which is plain wrong and contradictory .....amazing !!!!!

I will prevail for my mates sake ,going back to basics and cannibalising the looms and splicing and making up the rest although with no benelli diagnostics its a 70-30 chance of success but be thankful you have a ducati they are a doddle believe me .

I saw they are owned by a Chinese firm, but are they made in China, too?

"Better service than Benelli."

That's equivalent to "Taller than a midget" in my book.
I own several motorcycles. I have owned lots of motorcycles. And have bolted and/or modified lots of crap to said motorcycles...

They are still made and designed in Italy by italiens but the financial owner is Chinese,  the bikes are brilliant and some dealers very enthusaistic and helpful but the service manuals and factory backup is abysmal

Good news just obtained a wiring diagram in Italien for a 2008 Benelli TREK 1130 and it matches the replacement looms so now i can start chopping and changing to make it fit the 2004 bike ...what a nightmare

"Yelling out of cars, turning your speakers out the window to blast your music onto the street, setting off M-80 firecrackers, firing automatic weapons into the airâ€"these are all well and good. But none of them create a merry atmosphere of insouciance and bonhomie quite like a revving motorcycle.

I put up for a few months only of insufferable Benelli ownership. Those things are much worse than a 1990s Ducati. Not just in electrical problems but EVERYTHING.

My TNT-S looked good, that's it.

At first, I was thinking of a 696
