Yep, and the last one of the six too . The allen has just about rounded out and I've banged it, PB Blastered, tried the trick I saw a mechanic use with a slightly smaller socket on the head and guess my next would be heat, but what do you heat on this, the carrier for the rotor?

If you have a Dremel cut a neat screwdriver slot into the bolt head. If you are the very patient sort you could do same with a hacksaw.

Advantage of doing the slot is you can re-use that bolt til a new one is found.

It's always the last one.

The idea of the heat is to soften the loctite that's gluing it in place - heat either the bolt or the carrier, just as long as you get the loctite hot you're good to go.

And when you put them back in, use blue loctite, not red.

i drill a hole through the bolt then i heat it up with a butane pen torch. if u dont, u sometimes have to sit there with the torch for a while.

also an impact driver helps alot.

Drill a hole down thru the head into the threaded part?

I've used vice grips in a pinch before on rounded out allen heads.

A torx bit pounded in can work too.

Exactly what I would try first.  The hammering may even help loosen the bolt. 
Use an impact driver, not a ratchet to loosen.

Yeah, I've got a 20 year old craftsman, I probably should have tried that first. I'll stop at my local wonder hardware this afternoon and se if I can find a star or torx that'll do the job.

yes drill it straight down the middle. its worked for me every time. most of them come from rotors. everything else doenst seem to need it.

For the record, with enough persuasion, a Craftsman T45 torx will fit the front brake rotor bolts on an M750. Wacking repeatedly, with an impact driver, will also loosen said frozen bolt.
