I was kinda born into the biz... Dad (SDR Mike) got started swingin' a hammer on the original Star Trek, then doing props, then models (still on Star Trek)... 30-ish years later... here we are!

I work in Procurement for a University which is heavily into scientific research.  I purchase laboratory equipment, etc.  Most of which is specialized instrumentation so you're always learning something new.

I was a partner at one of the largest, best and best known law firms on the East Coast.  I represented government entities from the U.S. Treasury down to local utility districts and also major non-profit institutions including Harvard College, Wellesley College, Massachusetts General Hospital and the Harvard/Pilgrim Health Plan. 

I retired at 55 and worked part time for six years as a snowboard instructor in New England.

Now I am sporadic snowboard and telemark instructor and free lance trumpet player with a legal residence in no-state-income-tax Texas.
