I'd like to check that out. I'm interested in that bike. Beats the shit out of the Diavel coming out party. Roll Eyes Besides, I have never been to the new RPM, just the Honda/Suzook shop next door. Also, love the exhaust note. Very nice. waytogo The more I read about the engineering that went into it the more impressed I am. You read a lot about bike company start ups and their good ideas (like the previous Norton owner/builder) but this one seems to actually be panning out. waytogo Dolph

Bumpity-bump.  This should be very interesting.  Think I'll cruise over tomorrow around noon and see for myself.

If I don't melt before then I would like to check this out. If it's too hot to ride you might as well look at bikes inside in the AC. waytogo Dolph

Did anybody go by? I would have gone if it was still there after work but they were done at 1 according to the information.

Motus were here!  They were loud.  And kicked ass  Shocked

The white, fully operational prototype.   Was surprised to see how narrow it looked from the front

The finish quality of this prototype would make any production motorcycle proud.  Don't remember the Pratt and Miler connection from the original press release... At any rate, very cool.

And this is the silver one.  What's really nice about the seat is that it's very narrow.  Not sure what the actual seat height was, but touching the ground was not a problem.  The reach to the bars was also quite workable.

But the bike's real party piece, to me anyway, are the three way adjustable clip-ons; the bars themselves can be moved in or out; rotated back to front; and they're height adjustable as well.  After-market manufacturers are gonna hate these guys  Evil

I really hope this company can pull this bike off - it's just way to cool to not make it into the gene pool   chug

Dammit. I couldn't pull this off and I really wanted to see this bike's local debut. More than any bike since the Triumph 675 Daytona's coming out party. From what I have read about the Motus it has incredible backing from the Pratt/Miller engineering firm. I like the looks, the sound, the features and the possibilities and future of this scooter. If I had any money for a new bike it might go this way. Ducati has nothing that I am interested in other than what I already have. This bike could force a company like Ducati into revisiting the ST line up. I can't ride superbikes forever even with Heli-bars and gel seats and I don't want a Bimmer or Honda ST1300. This could compete on a completely different level and still be something special/not the norm.

I will spend the evening kicking myself in the ass for not going to RPM today. But, thanks for the pics and input. waytogo Dolph I assume they didn't offer demo rides. If they do next time I WILL MAKE THAT!

I aim to please.
Body work was set very well around the frame.  From the pictures you'd think the heads are close to the knees and feet but there is a lot of room.  The bags look purposeful and fit the profile, much like the old ST's.
That's all you get for now.

Another interesting thing was that the Motus reps were seriously interested in feedback on specific design features.  Case in point; manually adjustable windscreen or electric.  They also wanted to get as many people of varying heights to sit on the bike as possible.  Trying to get the seat height low and narrow enough for women was a design point from the beginning.

Very cool to see a motorcycle at that stage of development.

"Yelling out of cars, turning your speakers out the window to blast your music onto the street, setting off M-80 firecrackers, firing automatic weapons into the air—these are all well and good. But none of them create a merry atmosphere of insouciance and bonhomie quite like a revving motorcycle.
