or you can try to fit these somewhere else too...

much slimmer than the super tones so you will prob have more placement options.

Simple solution....
Get rid of airbox, mount pod filters, install horns on inside of frame. There is a ton of room with the air box gone. Would look really clean then
Yeah.
But then the horns wouldn't "project" as well.
No, seriously.
The horns are awesome.

I can't wait until Marquez gets on his level and makes Jorge trip on his tampon string.

Getting rid of the airbox does free up heaps of room under the tanks skins, its true. Thats where my airhorn lives.
But simple solution? Not really.

I thought about the inside... Theres actually a slight amount of room outside the trellis if I had a clamp made for the frame,
but
I
wanted them un-interupted and, well, I like the way they look, right where they are so I had the mounts made for that spot specifically after looking at it both ways
Totally expected the comments, hell thats why I tossed my own "Fugly" right in the first post... one of the better parts of the monster is all the options for what you can do. And or all of the comments folks can make while never doing much of anything beyond talking about other stuff. It's all part of the fun!

Not only are the Supertones larger and deeper, you want to use the stock mounts for them (the three bars) and make sure that mount has room to vibrate to get the max tone and volume from the horns...
Without digging in to how the horns work at max, it might seem like you can bend the strap mount and or bolt em a few different ways, but doing it right on this bike means machining something and freeing up the whole mech to work at peak...

To each their own...
I mean, I hardly even use my horn (my exhaust and clutch is way louder than it) but when I have, it's really only served to piss car drivers off not make them respect your space on the bike.
Loud
horns
clutches save lives.

Looks good, minus the horns.
If you traffic constricts you bad enough that you have to check up on cages, I feel bad for ya. Traffic around here is "loose" enough I just make my own hole. No horn is going to save someone from coming over on me. I either cover the brake well enough or I'm on the gas and squirt on by.
I get the "in the face" thing though...

They're probably the weight of 5 stockers with the clamps...

Speaking of reaction on how loud...
I got cut off this morning and gave a guy a horn blast and he lurched back over out the way then tucked in behind me... followed me on to my street and in the parking section where I work (large distribution facility with a bunch of large guys as a nice back up).
I'm thinking ok here it comes, he's gonna want a "go"... He gets out and has a big smile on his face and says "you just made me sh!t myself! Can I see how you mounted those and wired them?? I'm going out and buying them as soon as we're done talking"

It's also red, has a hundred or so more horse power and slightly lower hand positions
