"Yelling out of cars, turning your speakers out the window to blast your music onto the street, setting off M-80 firecrackers, firing automatic weapons into the airâ€"these are all well and good. But none of them create a merry atmosphere of insouciance and bonhomie quite like a revving motorcycle.

the basic idea was to take the rod out that was the purpose of the topic.... on the Hayne's manual they say that i just have to slide it out.  since it didn't work in my case I was wandering if something was actually holding it in place.??? ( once the pressure plate is out )

The rod should slide out pretty easily. With the pressure plate removed, there is nothing holding it. It just rests in the passage through the engine.

-Throttle's on the right, so are the brakes.  Good luck.

I'm sorry to go slightly off topic. My sister's M1100 is experiencing some clutch problems. There is no resistance at all until I squeeze it almost all the way down. Even then it feels like I'm power shifting. I guess it just feels like the clutch wasn't entirely engaged when I change gears. Which is a problem because I need to figure out how to fix it before Laguna Seca on the 22nd!

please help out!

I guess it's because of the clutch springs where used beyond the min specs .... i think that implied that the pressure plate was to "loose" not putting  sufficient pressure on the rod that bent ??? maybe because it's a Blonde guess... ;D

ducatigirl100

And i called the dealer yesterday ...they gone call me back next week.. ???.but I dont have new on the condition of the bike :'(

ducatigirl100

So here it is

The pushrod was bent by a Bering that went loose in the clutch ...that's what they told me so they replace the push rod and the Berings ...for the first time the bike woks like a charm ...looking forward to my vacation in 4 week !!!! [Dolph] ;D

tanks everyone  [thumbsup]  ;)
