I sorry for posting again but I bought a real lemon  [bang]  [bang]

OK it's a 1995  900cc monster

Yesterday I was on a boulevard at 50 km  an hour and when I tried to pull the clutch the was no clutch!!!!  :o   ( no resistance!!)

Tanks to my incredible superheros  Blondie talent i manage to stop the bike witout the clutch [Dolph]  [thumbsup]  ;D    [bow_down]  ( yea!! try that just to see!! [ cheeky] )

So I've cheek  the lever it's OK ... and after that I've open the clutch  took out the spring ( yes in the Right order..opposite from each other !)

What I see is the push rod is completely bent!!!
:o

SO I look in the Hayne's manual  and they say that is just I've to slide it out of  but it's so bent that even whit "vise grips" i cannot move it one bit

I was wandering if the "slave cylinder" that is on the other side of the bike is holding it in ???     which would mean that i would have To bleed the clutch and take out the "slave cylinder ??....?

Or How do i get it out ???

+ now I'm taking the dealer to court. ..tanks my law degree !!".. ;D

for a quick resume
-starter motor fails
-clutch fails
-He sold me the bike whit half the breaks in front( only one rotor and only one caliper !!!)!!!
-ignition modules fails to...

What a lemon !!!

gage

You can take the slave cylinder off without bleeding the circuit. That said you may want to bleed that circuit. it's pretty easy. Do you have any pictures of the bent pushrod?

No ........the dealer just called me and they taking the bike tomorow morning to see everyting that wrong whit it ......  :)  [bow_down]  I'm hoping that i wil not have to do mechanic or the rest of the season ...I just wana ride  [Dolph]  :'(

The real question here is why would the pushrod bend?

"Yelling out of cars, turning your speakers out the window to blast your music onto the street, setting off M-80 firecrackers, firing automatic weapons into the airâ€"these are all well and good. But none of them create a merry atmosphere of insouciance and bonhomie quite like a revving motorcycle.

So hers the photo  :)   we can clearly see an offset of the push rod....

After tinking about it, I've got the bike in may ...
since then each time I was going out...(  after 45min or an hour ) the clutch became really hard to use...I've hear many comment on how the clutch was heavy on a Ducati ...but I go to the gym 3 time a week so.... ;D   I tough after I saw  the push rod that bent i said to myself that maybe after an hour of riding the metal of the rod took some expansion due to the heat an due to that it was pushing towards the edges of the shaft.... witch in turn wasn't functioning properly    ( and yes I'm still overtinking everyting [roll] ;D  )

retirer le recepteur d'embrayage et d'examiner la tige hors du moteur ..

the dealer took the bike this morning and will see what's wrong whit it  [bow_down]  [clap]

the basic idea was to take the rod out that was the purpose of the topic.... on the Hayne's manual they say that i just have to slide it out.  since it didn't work in my case I was wandering if something was actually holding it in place.??? ( once the pressure plate is out )

P.s. In French we always use mechanical terms in English  ;) it's easier to undersand   because I don't know what  "recepter d'embrayage"  means.    Probably french of France they use those french terms ..but here in Quebec where lazy learners  ;D  so we use the terms in English
