Alright. So i had my 6k service done a little bit before 6k.
Bike hits 7500 miles, and turns out my bike is one of those 2006 in between models with the 7500 mile service instead of 6000 miles...

So the valves have been inspected (no adjustments needed), but my gauges started flashing maint on startup when i hit 7500 miles.
How do i turn that shit off?

if you did the service at the dealer, i'm pretty sure they'll turn off the light for you if you bring it back to them.  most only have a an issue turning it off if they didnt do the work.

Do a search because I don't really remember, but mine came on at 8500(?) and I reset it by holding one of the buttons on the cluster in as I turned the key on and doing a hold/wait/press button X number of times deal. You don't need a dealer or any software to reset the indicator.

The "MAInt" warning may be
cancelled as follows. Hold down the
button and turn the key to ON.
Wait until the warning turns off and
then release the button and turn the
key to OFF.
When the key is turned back to ON,
the warning should not appear again.
