MV Agusta has officially taken the wraps off its collector's edition MV Agusta F3 'Serie Oro' motorcycle, showing the three-cylinder supersport machine in its final production trim. Producing only 200 units of the Gold Series, MV Agusta is building these bikes to each customer's specifications, with a price tag upwards of â,¬20,000 being the name of the game. Helping justify that high cost for the MV Agusta F3 Serie Oro, MV Agusta has made Brembo monobloc calipers, Öhlins forks, an Öhlins TTX rear shock, and forged aluminum wheels all stock on the 675cc supersport machine.

The premium F3 also boasts plenty of carbon fiber and a sophisticated electronics package, though some might find the price hard to swallow in the middleweight sport bike category (even if there are nice touches like painted mirrors and intake grills). Accordingly, MV Agusta has also announced the MSRP for the base model MV Agusta F3, with European pricing set at â,¬11,990. Production for the MV Agusta F3 has also been moved up by four months, meaning bikes will be in the hands of dealers by the end of this year. Looks like 'game on' to me.  I don't know who's currently steering MV's ship, but I'd be curious to know more about the underpinnings (shared or unique to the F4 for example).  Also, what are the specs?  Love to hear how it sounds under load.  The F4 is fantastic.  Though pricey

Base model is about 17,000 usd... Hopefully closer to 848 pricing when released in the us but I doubt it.

And there are some vids of the bike out there but nothing without the stock exhaust which is pretty muffled

I'm gonna go ahead and say it'll be closer to 14k in the US. Prices in the EU tend to be much higher.

I think you may be missing the point of the product. I suspect this will be purchased more as "rolling art" than as a racetrack weapon.

Hell, I dare say this particular edition (as well as the F4 CC from a few years back) qualifies as a "Velben good."

We'll have to wait and see how (or if at all) the F3 does in supersport racing. I remember the F4 being raced by a privateer in BSB, but that's about all I've seen of it. I suspect the F3 will see about equal professional track time.

(Hell, if I had 11ty billion dollars just sitting 'round, I'd buy one of these and a matching F4, regardless of whether I rode them much. They're just beautiful machines.)

A Little more poking around confirms that will be the OTD price.

For comparison, an R6 (depending on where you get it) will set you back around 11500 EU, so the F3 being a sub 11K  USD bike is very plausible.

The only problem I have with this bike is there is only one dealer here and I HATE them with a passion.
Still  over these pictures.  What a nice job they've done.
