Track day anyone?

This is just a feeler to see if anyone would be interested. I've never done a track day before and have been wanting to for a while now.

Obviously, if any of you have a better suggestion for track day organizers post them up. I'm open to just about anything that's not too far away.

Have two more planned this years so far with Motoyard.... They seem cool so far

Who knows, but it gets so freakin hot out there, I figure this is the best way to go. The night thing will be crazy though.

I'm well aware of the heat up at Willow so when I saw this I was definitely intrigued.  I shared the link with two of my buddies and they are both prepping their dusty track bikes that haven't seen any action in close to a year so they can get out there and try it.

I saw a couple of YouTube videos on this night track day and I'm not sure if it's the camera or what but it looks f-n dark through some sections.  Still....cool nights and an open track sound tempting

I didn't even think to look for some videos of it. Technology these days. Looking at them now, it looks like they get to keep their lights. I thought they did it on the big track, nothing like learning a new track in the dark.

At least a 2 piece that zips together. Although some say 2 piece textiles are cool too.

There's a track in Perris (riverside) that does a motard race and they provide a bike and gear for about $280.

track night, interesting.. sure looks like there are several important lights missing.

A buddy of mine did the night track this past saturday.  He didn't feel safe and said there was def. not enough light specially on some corner like coming out of the bowl or turn two.  All the lights are placed at the apex so he couldn't see if he had enough track on the outside.  He said some corners were just fine but overall didn't like it.

I'm guessing headlights-if installed- did not aid much.

Track only bike so no headlights.  I forgot to ask him if the regular track days rules apply as in tape up/remove lights, break lights etc for regular street bikes.

that's exactly what i was thinking based on the yt video.  no lights on my bike, no way would i go flying into 2 in the dark.  same with entering the bowl.
