Well I owe alot to this board....(and dare I say TOB before this haven was created).
Thought I'd share "MY Monster"
I bought it on March 21 2007 and have done alittle "work" on it.  All the ideas came
from those out there who are kind enough to share their knowledge....
You all gave me the info.....and I owe alot of thanks waytogo
Oh by the way...............My wife hates you all!!!!!!! Grin
First order of business......homegrown tail chop.  Took alot of convincing to hack away
but with some Captain on board.... Evil
Polished the exhaust....by hand....one can took me just a few hours.....18 hours to be exact! Shocked
Chopped the exhaust.......1.5 inches...I know that's not much....but it GROWLS now and the exhaust
lines up with the tailchop better  waytogo  Now I just have to repolish the cans again! Angry
Painted the belt covers....2 tone black and "hammered metal"
Painted the bar risers yellow
painted the turn signals....yellow.  I had to custom make the front turn signal brackets.
It has a 1999 M900 OEM fairing on it and it had the square signals.  They didn't match the "cat eyes" on the back....can't have that!!
I also painted the windscreen black.
Bar end mirrors.....Mountain Mirrycles...or something like that.  Bicycle mirrors...But they work great.
The only drawback to them is I no longer get to see my shoulders when I look into my mirrors  laughingdp
Added  two LED chevrons on the underside of my seat on the plastic inner fender.  One is hooked up to my lights, the other to my brake light.  I'll have to get some pics of that posted.
Like I said....It's no SHOW Monster......but it's slowly becoming "MY MONSTER"!
And again......Thanks to everyone who has shared their knowledge chug....
Keep It comming......
I don't believe I'm done yet!!!!! Grin
2000 M750......Yes it's Yellow.....and I like it  Grin

Forgot to mention....I also ditched the emmisions   Evil

I'll shut up now  Grin

Any man who spends 18 hrs polishing a muffler by hand has the mod-bug bad.

Why do I get the feeling you are far from done? Cheesy
